  2. JACKSON (Maile Monroe). Mary Wood (97-09-08) My husband's ggrandfather, Malie Monroe Jackson, was born in Montgomery Co. OH in 1835, and married Amelia Jane Thompson in Monroe, Butler Co. OH in 1856. Amelia's father was Samuel Thompson, and her mother was Priscilla Gustin. Both Samuel and Priscilla died about 1836..cholera and heartbreak. Would like to correspond with others researching these families.

Son, MOSES EASTON BAKER, bn 1804 in Butler co., married LUCRETIA JEFFERS on 11-13-1828. Her father was THOMAS JEFFERS, bn before 1777 in Tyrone, Ireland. It was written that Thomas's father was killed at the battle of Brandywine. Believe NANCY EASTONS father was MOSES EASTON who died in Butler co. Need information on the parents of BAKER, JEFFERS, EASTON listed above.

First names of JOHNSONs are Cyrus, Cyprus, James, Chandler. The TALLMAN family also come from Henry County, Indiana. First names are Patience, David, Ephraim, Stephen and Jonathan. She was alive in 1837 when she was paid from her father's estate for his care. Did she die somewhere between 1837 & 1850 when Jonas appears to be living with a wife, Rachel, and sons: Mathew age 21 & George age 19. Also, living with family was Marion WIRTSEL age 10.
