TRACY, WEST posted by Michelle Maurin on Saturday, October 7, 2000

I would like to get any information on the area of TRACY Rd. It is off of Hwy. 51 It used to be called WEST Rd. In 1992 the name changed to Tracy Rd. If you have any History, death, births, marriages, children, fires or murders (if any) as far as you can go. Or if you ca tell me where I can research this information I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to get as much as I can. As far back as I can go. Could this area have been a cemetery or school house Indian grounds? I would like to get any information on the area of Tracy Rd. HESSER, MOREHEAD posted by Jim Duggan on Saturday, October 7, 2000

I'm looking for information on Andrew MOREHEAD of Wayne Township. He was located in 1820 census in JEFFERSON Co. I believe his father may have been William MOREHEAD as they were the only two in the county. Andrew married in 1820/1821 to Margaret HESSER and then moved to Illinois sometime between 1830 and 1840. If anyone can assist with this research I would be very grateful. I'm located in Australia.

ERWIN, HILL posted by Pat Erwin Hugar on Saturday, October 7, 2000

I have now had a chance to visit HILL Family cemetery, which is very well kept , grass mowed, for being a family cemetery. Some of the stones are eroded and can not be read any longer, as well as some are broken. My Revolutionary War Patriot, Robert HILL is buried here and the stone is readable. He was born in 1761 and died in 1845. His grave is marked as a Grave of the American Revolution. Robert's wife Rosamond is next to him. I know James S. ERWIN and several other Erwin's are here. Does anyone have an old transcription of the people buried here? This would be most helpful as some stones are unreadable.

DRAY, HEIDLER posted by Horace V Draa on Sunday, October 22, 2000

I'm seeking information re: the ancestors of Thomas Nelson DRAY born in Ohio (probably Jefferson County) ca. 1853 and died in Toronto, Ohio on February 24, 1922. On July 2, 1874 he married Anna HEIDLER . His children included Pharaoh Vincent Dray, born in Jefferson County in 1876. Census records indicate that he lived on Nessly Street in Toronto and was employed in clay mining and pottery Records in my possession indicate that he did not know the names of his parents, nor did his wife know the names of her parents. Perhaps they met each other in an orphanage ? Any help you can give in identifying his parents or other ancestors would be appreciated.
