ROACH, ROBERTS posted by Matthew J. Quinn on Wednesday, April 23, 1997

I am also trying to establish that the Jeremiah ROACH who married Lydia Stackhouse on 26 Nov 1846 in Carroll Co., OH is the son of John ROACH (1792-1843) and Rachel ROBERTS (?-1832) of Ross Twp, Jefferson co., OH. John and Rachel have a son named Jerry listed, and my Jeremiah ROACH (11 January 1828?-21 Feb 1897) used that nickname on at least one census. This seems the only possible matchup in the area for my Jeremiah ROACH, but I have no documentation.

BARNHOUSE, REARICK posted by Ann Monrad on Wednesday, April 23, 1997

Andrew REARICK lived Salem Twp Jefferson Co Ohio in 1825. He had one son John who had at least 4 sons and a daughter according to the 1820 Census, John bought property in Jefferson Co which later became Carroll Co and sold the property in 1833. His son Jacob married Mary BARNHOUSE 1833 Carroll Co. The entire family vanished after 1833. Are there baptismal records available for the Luthern Church ca 1810-1830? I need the names of John's other children as well as their whereabouts after 1833. It is possible that Andrew died before 1833 as he would have been advanced in age. Also need the names of the old cemeteries in the area.
