EWING posted by Michael Schafer on Sunday, August 6, 2000: A friend is tracing family roots and found the name of Margaret Caroline EWING in Steubenville. The two problems with this is we are not sure where Margaret was born and all we have is a letter from a teenager Margaret in the early 1950's. Hopefully a birthrecord from around 1934 to 1936 might be available. Not much I realize but for the moment that is it. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It is believed both Edward and Hannah lived part of their young lives in Jefferson Co. OH after moving from PA. Edward was believed to be born in VA? I've just learned that Hannah SMITH'S parents were Kasiah DAVIS and Henry SMITH, Jr. My husband is descended from Hannah & Edward CLOWS son, William. In 1839 the CLOW family moved to Fayette Co IL. I'm interested in exchg. info. with anyone on these families.

His name was Delmar WARRINGTON. She was only about 6 months old when he was killed. I understand he had a large family in the Ohio area. She states they lived near Wheeling Wva.
