Need info on John William SCOTT, born 1863, Ireland and wife, Agnes O'BRIAN, born 1876, Ireland. They were listed in Jefferson Co., Ohio 1900 census with the following children: James, 1891, Lenora, 1893, William, 1895, Anna, 1897 and nephew, John P. SCOTT, 1884. All children born in Ohio. I am looking for two separate families. George Albert CLARK (born in Madison County in West Jefferson in Sept 1865) but when he attended Hillsdale College in Michigan in 1880 he listed home as Springfield, Ohio. He married Mary Franc ELLIS and they had three children Dorothy Clark SPENSER, Mills Gardner CLARK, and Lucille Clark Grey DUNBAR. The only thing I know about his parents is that they were both born in Ireland. George was a college professor. The other family is Charles and Hattie STOTLER, they moved to Missouri in the 1890's. They were both born in Ohio in 1862 and Charles' parents were also born in Ohio. In the 1900 Missouri census there were also two other STOTLER families from Ohio. Charles was a farmer.

Looking for parents and birth information for Isreal HARBOURT, b. 12/28/1818, d. 9/26/1854 in Jefferson county. He married Elizabeth SPEER (or SPEAR) on March 26, 1844 and she died within 10 days of him. They had a son, Cyrus Oscar, age 3 at the time of parents death. How did Cyrus and his siblings get to Kentucky--who was their guardian?

My grandmother, Catherine MCLAUGHLIN, came to Steubenville, J Jefferson County, Ohio, via England, around 1866 with her mother, Catherine ROHANE, born in Ireland about 1844, died in Ohio in 1906, and her father, Patrick MCLAUGHLIN, born in Ireland about 1836, and died about 1901, place of death unknown. They had five children - Bridget, born in Ireland about 1858; Catherine, born in Ireland about 1860; Ella, born in England about 1865; Thomas, born in Ohio about 1868; and James, born in Ohio about 1869. Where in Ireland did Catherine and Patrick come from, and where and when did they get married? What were their parents names? We can find no record of Patrick's death. He was listed in the Steubenville city directory in 1899-1900,but Catherine was listed as being alone in the 1904-05 directory, and we can find no record of his death. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
