ADAMS, HAYNER, MARTIN, RODABAUGH -
I am seeking information on the William O. Adams family. He was listed as living in Hollins, Botetourt Co., Va. in 1911 when his mother died. He was married to Sarah Ann Rodabaugh, my great grandfather Harry Oakland Rodabaugh's sister. William was a foreman in the railroad car shops in nearby Roanoke Va. William and Sarah had four daughters, Martha Dottie, Alice M., Lillian E. and Daisy. Martha was a public school teacher, Alice was a nurse at one time for a private family-and may have been married to a Jiles/Giles Martin, Daisy may have been married to a man by the name of Hayner. If anyone can help me with this family it would surely be appreciated. Thank you, Tim Rodabaugh

NACE -
I am search for any information on a John Nace born about 1775, probably in Maryland. He married a Catharine, who I believe was also from Maryland. He received a Land Grant of 170 Acres in Botetourt County Virginia in 1795. He appears on a map of Botetourt in 1796 as a land holder. I am trying to establish where he was originally from and who his parents might be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

BOWEN, LAFON, OWENS, TROUT -
My G-G-Grandfather Hugha Bowen married 1-Elizabeth Owens (1805) and 2-Susanna Trout (1846). He moved to what is now Wayne County, WV in the early 1800s. His sister, Magdalene, also moved to Wayne County. Hugha is believed to have married Elizabeth Owens while still in what is now Tazewell, Montgomery or Botetourt County. Hugha's parents were John and Elizabeth "LaFon" Bowen who lived and/or owned property on Craigs Creek, Catawba Creek and Clover Hollow. I am told there are several deed entries for Hugha in Tazewell County and several for his father in Montgomery and Botetourt. Can anyone provide any definitive information on the above?
