CASTON, WAGGONER, WAGNER -
I am researching my g.g.g.g. grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth Wagner, born in Dec 1742 in PA. She was of Welsh decent. She married Glass Caston probably in NC. they moved to Lancaster Dist., SC. She died in 1830. I got this information from her son Wilks Caston's family Bible. This is all I know of her ... except when she died she was supposed to have been most recently from Botetourt Va. I am assuming she might have gone to Botetourt to be with Wagner family members after her husband died. One of Elizabeth Wagner Caston's daughters was named Elizabeth Caston and she married my g.g.g.g grandfather, Joseph Waggoner. I don't know if the Wagner and Waggoner were of the same family ... or different lines. Castons and Waggoners both were in Essex Co., Va in the early 1700s. I would like any information on any Wagners/ Waggoners in Botetourt Va. Thanks, Donna Carter http://www.vzinet.com/hpcust/dcarter/index.htm
