The Gutscher Family



Vincent Fidalas Gutscher was the son of Christopher Gutscher and Cynatha A. Allen, of German ancestry. He was born 9 January 1862, in Richinson County, Nebraska.

He was married 25 February 1884 to Clara August McClain, who was born 18 June 1863, daughter of James Calvin McLain and Sarah Batey (Bates, Batecy.) Vincent was known for the fine horses that he raised.

Clara died 21 April 1938; Vincent died 15 June 1941. Both died in Northbranch, Kansas, and were buried in Guide Rock, Nebraska.
