Little is know at this time about the family of Orange Lamb. Orange Lamb, a twin, son of Hezekiah Lamb and Hannah Small, was born 18 March 1848, in Grant County, Indiana.
He was married 17 April 1871, in Fremont County, Iowa, to Nancy Ann Meek, born about 1855, daughter of Isaac Meek and Ruth Jones. Nancy was a sister to Martha Meek, who was married to Silas Overman Lamb above, the brother of Orange.
In Jewell County, Kansas, in the little Oak Creek Cemetery (Friends), there is small metal grave marker which says "Orange Lamb-In Loving Memory--died 2 March 1877. " It lies in a group of graves belonging to the Benbow and Mendenhall families, between "Charles Hiatt" and "Joseph Burgess."
