James and Catherine moved to Green County, Ohio, in 1795, 7 years before Ohio became a state.

James died in 1 July 1801/2 in Clark's Run, Mason County, Kentucky; Catherine died in 1836 in Randolph County, Indiana, buried Spartanburg, or Arba Cemetery. County, Kentucky, buried Clarks�s Run.
