Edwin R Eastwood, 88, of Jacksboro, died Thursday, June 8 at U.T.
Medical Center. He was a member of Jacksboro First Baptist Church. He served in
the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, worked for TVA for 20 years, and
was retired from Union Carbide after 23 years. He is survived by; wife, Edna
Lasley Eastwood; sons, Edwin R Eastwood, Jr. of Kingston, Tennessee, and Kenneth
W. Eastwood of Hurricane, West Virginia; daughter, Bobbie J Heineman of
Fairfield Glade, Tennessee; special nephews, Larry W Wilson of N. Charleston,
South Carolina, and Walter Lasley of Staurt, Virginia; special niece, Wanda
Peters of Flat Rock, Michigan; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends
and neighbors. Funeral services were held Monday, June 12 at First Baptist
Church, Jacksboro with Dr. Charles Parker officiating. Interment followed in
Campbell Memorial Gardens. Cross Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mary Ann Elliott, -Age 81, of Jellico died July 15, 1961 at the
home of her son-in- [it appears that some of this obituary has been omitted]
Mrs. Dora Davis, Jellico, Mrs. Thelma Lindsay, Cardington, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie
Taylor, Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Roscoe Elliott and Andrew Elliott, both of
Jellico; one brother, Joe Perkins, Davey, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Floerence
Ferrell, Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Lou Morgan, Lafollette; 23 grandchildren; 35 great
grandchildren. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday at Good Hope Baptist Church, Rev.
Eugene Young officiating. Burial in Jellico Cemetery, Ellison Jellico in
charge. The body is at the family home.

Mrs. Mae Enix, 46, Oak Grove passed away Sunday, April 7.
Survivors: husband Virgil, seven sons Dan, Sam, Ronnie, Larry, Darryl, and
Eugene, all of Lake City, Route # 2 Ralph of Pontiac, Michigan and Delmer, U.S.
Army; three daughters Lucille, Ella Sue and Wanda all of Lake City, Route # 2
one brother Lee Lovely of Jacksboro Route # 1 two sisters Mrs. Grace Witt, Lake
City and Mrs. L. Anderson of Jacksboro, Route # 1 Services were held Wednesday
at 2 p.m. Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Walter Richardson officiated. Martins
in charge.

Elmer Eschman, age 68 of Speedwell died Nov. 10 in Union County.
He was born May 30, 1936 in Tennessee a son of the late Harry M. Eschman and
Leatha Minton Eschman Thomas. He resided in Michigan for many years. He was
preceded in death by his parents; son, Elmer Glenn Eschman.He is survived by his
sons, Kurt and wife, Dawn Eschman of Muskegon, MI, Johnny and wife, Janene Moore
of Walkerville, MI; daughter, LuSinda and husband, Richard Clark of Muskegon,
MI; brothers, William C. and wife, Marion Eschman of Shelby, MI, Ronald and
Tammy Eschman of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters, Volina Gray and Geneva and husband,
Wesley Brooks of Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Memorial services were Nov. 14 at the Reece Valley Chapel. Interment was in the
Hooper Cemetery. Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel was in charge of the
