Clyde Yarber November 20, 1997 James Clyde Yarber, 91, of
Clinton died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, in Fort Sanders Regional Medical
Center. Born May 22, 1906 in Campbell County. Retired from Y-12 Union Carbide as
a Utility Operator after approxitmately 25 years of service. Served as assistant
manager for several years with Anderson County Fair Association in Clinton. He
attended Sinking Springs United Methodist Church in Clinton. He was preceded in
death by his parents, James and Mattie Yarber first wife, Dot Yarber and a son
James Yarber. Survivors include his wife Mildred Yarber of Clinton, daughters
Lorene and husband Clyde Dew of Norris, and Betty Hensley of Clinton sons,
Charles and wife Marie Yarber of Knoxville Bobby joe and wife Kathy Yarber of
Oak Ridge and Jack and wife Patsy Yarber of Ten Mile, Tenn stepdaughters Marie
Collins of Caryville Phyliss Segroves of Knoxville Patsy Headrick of Knoxville
and Gail Barnard of Lenoir City stepsons Jimmy Ford Thurman Ford Everett Ford
and Robert Ford all of Knoxville and Howard Ford of Dickson Tenn 18
grandchildren 19 great grandchildren several step grandchildren and step great
grandchildren. Visitation was from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday Nov. 21, in the
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Katherine Nance officiating.
Burial was 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, in Sinking Springs Cemetery,

Mrs Cora W.Yarber, age 83, passed away Sunday, formerly of 36 S.
North Hampton Ave., survived by two daughters,Mrs. Thelma Rummel, Mrs. Pauline
Newcomb; 4 sons, Thomas M.., Elmer, Danny,Clyde; 1 sister Anna Holden; 5
brothers, James, Robert, Shafter, Ernest,John L. Cantrell; 31 grandchildren; 16
great grandchildren. Funeral servicesat 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Banta Funeral Home,
3419 W. Third Street, Rev. Clyde Walter, officiating. Burial, Trissel cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.

James H. Yarber, age 97 of 36 S. Northampton Ave., passed
away Sunday, June 11, 1967. He was born Oct. 02, 1869 Morristown, Hamblen Co.,
Tenn. He is survived by his wife Cora; 2 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Rummel,
Dayton,and Mrs. Pauline Newcomb, Garden City, Mich.; 4 sons, Clyde, Clinton,
Tenn.; Thomas, Elmer and Danney, of Dayton; 52 grandchildren. Services 2 p.m.
Wednesday at the Drexel Nazarene church. Rev. William F. Fightmaster
officiating. Burial Trissel cemetery. Visitation at the R.L. Ulmer
and Son Chapel, 3701 W. Third St. from 2-9 p.m.

April 4, 1957 Jesse Hall Yarber Funeral services for Jesse
Hall Yarber, 56, were held at 2 PM Sunday at Farmers Grove Baptist Church with
the Rev. Ralph Schubert and the Rev. R.R. Martin officiating. Mr. Yarber died
Thursday at 5:05 PM at his home in Lake City. He was a member of Westside
Baptist Church. He is survived by sons, Dewey James Yarber of Clinton, Leo John
Yarber of Cleveland, Ohio, daughters Louise Johnson, Jessie Carroll, Mary
Bullock all of Clinton, Rosa Mae Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, father and
step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Yarber of Dayton, Ohio, brothers, Rufe and
Clyde Yarber of Clinton Rt. 2, half-brothers, Morgan of Ohio and Elmer of
Kentucky, half-sisters, Thelma Rummel of Ohio, and Pauline Payne of Michigan,
five step-sons, five step-daughters, 12 grandchildren. Burial was in Farmer
Grove Cemetery. Martin (Martin's Funeral Home) of Lake City had

Funeral Held Tuesday for Mrs. Yarber Funeral services for Mrs.
Leo Elsie Yarber, 53, of Clinton Rt#4. South Clinton, were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the Farmers Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph
Shubert officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Yarber dies
Sunday night at Baptist Hospital, Knoxville, after a long illness. Survivors
include five sons, James S Yarber, Washington D.C. Gene Yarber, Middleton, R.I.
William J., Watson H., and Marvin D. Yarber all of Clinton; four daughters Mrs.
Jule Golden Andersonville, Mrs. Ruby Hayes, Clinton Mrs. Peggy Lindsay, Powell
and Miss Betty Jo Yarber Clinton two brothers both of Washington State and nine
grandchildren.

July 2, 1997 Thomas M.Yarber, age 77 of Dayton, died
Wednesday, July 2, 1997, in Dayton. He was born June 22, 1920 in Red Ash, Tenn.
to the parents of James Henry and Cora (Cantrell) Yarber. He was of the
Pentecostal faith, a retired machinist from Anchor Fabrication, and a wwii
veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Doris M.
Cornett. Survived by sons and daughters-in-laws, Thomas(Dianne) Yarber of
Trotwood, John(Jody) Yarber of Dayton, Bethel(Kathy)Yarber of Dayton; daughters
and sons-in-laws Thelma(Ray) Carroll of Tenn., Mamie(Donald) Rummel of New
Lebanon, Jennifer (Randy) Yarber of Trotwood; grandchildren, Veronica, Myrtle,
Autumn, Marcie, Kiella, Daniel, Hanna May, Tommy, Amber, Greg, Michael, Janet,
Pam; and two great grandchildren, Travis and Kenneth; brothers, Elmer Yarber of
Fargo, North Dakota and Danner Yarber of Kentucky. Funeral services will be
Monday at 1:00 p.m., at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Interment Bear Creek
Cemetery, Friends may wish to call Sunday from 6-8p.m. at the funeral
home.
March 10, 1955 Mrs. Sara Savada Foust Yarber, 58,
died at her home in Clinton at 3 PM Saturday. Survivors are her husband, Jesse
Hall Yarber, daughters, Mrs. Dewey Bullock, Mrs. Vernon Johnson, Mrs. George
Carroll all of Clinton, Mrs. Luther Davis Cincinnati, Ohio, sons Dewey James
Yarber of Clinton, Leo John Yarber of Cincinnati, sister, Mrs. Martha Foust of
Michigan, brothers Earl, Dewey, Alonzo and Robert Foust, all of Clinton.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 PM at the North Clinton Baptist Church. Burial
was in Farmers Grove Cemetery with Martin's (Funeral Home) of Clinton in
