BEUCHAT posted by Cathy Dzurec on Sunday, February 15, 1998

I'm not clear as to what index this refers, but I need an obit for: BEUCHAT, Henry died February 19,1916 in Fulton County. His wife is Katherine; children Henry, Cora, Amelia (Emily) I got the info from the Ohio Historical Society on-line look-up (date of death) and the surviving family members from the 1900 census. I took a chance with the death date as Henry disappeared after the 1910 census and found his death recorded in the website.

Looking for parents of Elizabeth STITES of Oak Shade, Chesterfield Twp., Fulton Co., OH. Her birth/death date are unknown. She married William E. PENNINGTON (1823, Mt. Bethel, Somerset Co., NJ - 1903, Oak Shade, Chesterfield Twp., Fulton Co., OH; son of Rev. Ephriam PENNINGTON and Polly MOOR; buried Butler Cemetery) on 4 Oct 1878 in Fulton Co. Only child: Ethel Florence PENNINGTON, born 15 Feb 1880 in Fulton Co. and married to George L. SCOTT (1872-1959) on 4 Nov 1894 in Fulton Co. Ethel and George had 3 children: Nellie Gertrude (m. J. R. The Pennington, Stites, Butler families moved together from Somerset and Union Cos., NJ and settled in Fulton Co. Elizabeth STITES' husband, Wm. E. PENNINGTON was first married to Anna STITES (dau. of Amos STITES and Agnes Kelly). BAYES, BOLIN, BOWLING, JUSTICE, MIKESELL posted by Mildred E. Sussell on Thursday, February 19, 1998

Can anyone tell me how Adam MIKESELL (1806-1860) and Peter JUSTICE (1796-1881) are related? They are reported to have been cousins who walked from Somerset Co., PA to Fulton County, OH together to purchase lane in Sec. 15, T7N R7E, York Twp.?, Fulton County, OH, on 15/2/1836. However, both were living in Holmes Co., OH, by then, so probably came from there. Peter's parents were supposedly Nathan JUSTICE and Elizabeth BOLIN/BOWLING. Adam's parents were supposedly George MIKESELL &7 Mary BAYES?. Adam settled in Fulton Co., but Peter settled in Huron Co., OH. Peter's son, Nathan, lived in Amboy Twp., Fulton Co., OH, in the 1850 census. MIKESELL burials were in Mikesell Cemetery and Bayes Cemetery in Clinton Twp.
