My great grandparents, John and Myrtle BURGESS lived in Delta Ohio and gave birth to my grandmother Phoebe Lidolia BURGESS, she attended school there and later moved to Cleveland. Do you have any records pertaining to my maternal great grandparents, John and Myrtle BURGESS of Delta, Ohio. I know that Myrtle BURGESS, died at Sunshine Home in Toledo around 1950 or 1951. Trying to find origin of Elijah BURR(b.Nov 21, 1836 d.Jan 19, 1897) to Clinton Twp pre 1878 He bought the farm of Clinton Twp pioneer Elisah Williams.Brought 2 children (Guy C. and Cora G.)into a second marriage with Annie E. BRAINARD(b. Oct 23, 1854 d.May 25, 1914 m.Oct 9, 1878)- then they had 3 daughters. 1880 Clinton Twp Ohio Census shows Elijah BURR and Zilpha BURR (not sure who she is, but have a Daquerrotype photo dated 1865 that includes 'Zilpha Burr STEVENS' but the photo is of a young girl probably not married in 1865. I am trying to obtain information on George & Sarah MEGARAH that are buried in the old Salsberry cemetery in Pike Twp, Fulton Co., OH. George d. 7 Aug 1851, age 81y 9m 7d (making him born 1769). Sarah, his wife, b. 1772, d. 15 Mar 1855 (83 years). Are they the parents of George MEGARAH that m. Abigail BROWN in Richland Co, OH? Someone told me the Fulton County Courthouse burned down and all early records were lost. Is this true?

John SPRAGUE married Rhoda WARNER, daughter of Chauncy, sister of Orrin, in Fulton County c1852. According to family history, they lived in Swanton. Our family never located proof of marriage. They had a son, Oliver Ami SPRAGUE, born 1854. There is no record of a sibling, but i have a hunch there was one. John died young, no clue where he was buried. Rhoda remarried or left. Oliver Ami SPRAGUE for some reason, was raised by a family named "WORDEN"?, then lived most of his life in Delta, married to Emily GREEN. I am in hopes that someone may have any information on John SPRAGUE, (i think he may have been a black sheep!) or perhaps a church record of the marriage. Oliver Ami was my great grandfather. I thank you.

They were married in Ohio and thier children(that I know of), were Milton b. 1881 & Lawrence b. 1893 both in Fulton County. Lawrence Harvey PERRY m.Zella Bell HEPKER. Samuel YARNELL was born 1812-lived in Wayne Co. on his father's( Phillip) farm all his life. He was appointed guardian of the children of Thomas and Elizabeth YARNELL after they had both died in Napoleon by 1871. One child Marion's was buried in Fulton Co. and one child, Elizabeth, was a teacher out there. I want to connect the Fulton Co. YARNELL family and to the Wayne Co. YARNELL family.
