LEAVE, LOVE, MOHR, MOORE, MYERS, SEMLER posted by Pamela P Reinhart on Wednesday, January 7, 1998

I'm desperately searching for a maiden name for my g grandmother. I was hoping the obits of her sisters might help since her's didn't. Her name was Mollie, and she had a sister Mary and a sister Minnie. Mollie married my g grandfather abt 1896 in Lucas or Fulton Co. Mary married John MOHR in Lucas or Fulton Co. abt 1900. Not sure about Minnie, just know she married a man named SEMLER. I have been told several maiden names for her, including LOVE, LEAVE, MYERS, and MOORE. I'm guessing MOORE isn't right because probably they were thinking of her sister's married name. LOVE came from the funeral home, LEAVE came from an older relative now deceased (who probably knew her), and MYERS came from her still alive grandchildren who were about 20 when she died. I think they came from Germany abt 1880, but haven't checked any of the censuses yet. There is a William LOVE (acc. to fun. home this was father's name) in 1880 Henry Co. census but again haven't found out more yet. I plan to do so, but have to order them from the FHC first, so it will take a while. Now that I have laid out my current mystery, do you have any suggestions?

GUARDO, HUNTER posted by Donna on Monday, January 12, 1998

My name is Donna, I live in Texas and I'm just starting to piece together some geneology on my Father's side. I know very little about his side of our family but found this link. I hope you can help me. The information that I do know is that my Grandparents lived in Delta Ohio. My Grandfather's name was Brice HUNTER. I'm not sure of the exact year of his death but could have been in the early 70's, maybe 1972 or 73. My Grandmother's name was Rosella, I'm not sure of the spelling, and I think her maiden name was GUARDO, again, I'm not sure of that spelling either. I know she died before my Grandfather but I dont know the year. They had 3 children, Harry HUNTER, living in Texas, Carl Edward HUNTER, living somewhere in Ohio, and a daughter, deceased, that lived in Delta. I would like to find out as much information as I can, if its just dates of deaths that you have access to, that might give me something to build on. Any information you could provide would surely be helpful to me. Thank you.

WANNER posted by Sharon L. Schnuerle on Friday, January 30, 1998

I am looking for the Andrew WANNER family. He was born in Germany and so was his wife Margaretta. But everything else tells me the family was born and raised in Ohio. Someone found a Andrew WANNER in Fulton Co. in 1880. I don't know if this is him. Andrew was born Aug. 29, 1829 and died in 1888. His wife Nov.15, 1833 and died in 1899. They had 12 children the first was Andy; born Jan. 28, 1854. I am looking for Fred born March 6, 1872- died July 7, 1950. I have more dates and names of childern and Ohio is the only state talked about. I know I am asking a lot but we are having a hard time finding this part of the family. Thank you for any help, you can't believe how long we have been working on this line.
