ARMSTRONG, BROWN, CAMPBELL, REYNOLDS posted by Maggie Brown Moerdyke on Monday, May 4, 1998

Am working on the BROWN family tree and have indeed worked with Barbara Krooman and Pat who have listed queries on these exact pages - am asking the following: Levi Walter BROWN (certainly a well-known, yet not much written on person in the history of Fulton Co., Wauseon) - need to know where his general store was located and during what years it operated (might have been Burlington?) Any information on Levi Walter BROWN'S parents Benjamin BROWN and Ruth REYNOLDS (I have births, deaths, marriage and location - just interested in tidbits) Daniel BROWN and Sallie Last Name Unknown - parents of Benjamin BROWN - need to confirm death, marriage and birth dates, children, spouses, and dates Daniel BROWN and ? - parents of Daniel BROWN listed above - no idea if they came along with other family members 1835/37 from Vermont Any information you can send my way would be greatly appreciated. Maybe there would be a few newspaper abstracts informative enough to fill in the missing links. Any articles, inscriptions, biographical sketches of the Levi BROWN family please send my way. Also, do you have anything on my great uncle Reas CAMPBELL - he married my great aunt and favorite aunt Ruth ARMSTRONG BROWN (CAMPBELL) who donated her home for the museum - I have absolutely nothing but dates, where he is buried, where he died, not even place of birth is listed, and that he was the retired postmaster (what years?) with two children from a previous marriage. No names given, no ex-spouse amongst all the personal papers I have here - can you help me out, please. Most appreciatively and thank you,

Back again and still not much further - please any information you can provide on: BROWN, Levi Walter - ran a general store in Burlington (I'd like to know location and dates of general store if possible) before moving to Wauseon in 1880 to serve three (3) terms as Fulton Co. Probate Judge (1879-?); appointed 1889 US Consul to Scotland by Pres Harrison (original documents are in my possession); married three times and in 1883 to Esther Converse STONE, I assume in Fulton Co. - could you please send me information on their marriage, dates, location, etc. and especially any information on Esther (I do have some of her lineage as well) Am willing to share all I have - will send my GEDCOM if you are interested plus numerous clippings, original documents (teaching certificates, appointments, personal letters, photos), family tidbits, etc. Also searching for information of my great aunt Ruth Armstrong BROWN's husband Reas CAMPBELL - I have almost nothing on Uncle Reas, his birthplace, his previous marriage and to whom, and his two children from that marriage: Jean and William CAMPBELL only family photos, clippings of their graduation, wedding shower, marriage all from the Wauseon newspaper, and a brief obit on Reas CAMPBELL. Last but not least - need to complete death information (dates, cemetary) on: REYNOLDS, John Jr. and his wife HINKLEY, Rachel both died c 1840 in Lucas Co. and do not appear on the 1850 first Fulton Co. census to my knowledge Thank you for anything you can provide.

BLAIR, BOURQUIN posted by Bill Bourquin on Tuesday, June 30, 1998

I'm trying to find out what I can about my grandfather Ira BOURQUIN. He owned a grocery store and tile company in Archbold in the 1912-1938 time frame. He is a real "mystery man" to me and I'd like to find out more about him. The Buckeye newspaper may have a "Bourquin Grocery" ad during that time frame. My grandma Edith (BLAIR) BOURQUIN also owned a restaurant there/then.
