KELLEY, PRICE posted by Gail Kelley on Wednesday, January 1, 2003

Looking for my great-great grandmother's resting place. She was: Annie (Ann) PRICE KELLEY Born in 1841, she married to Philip Barton KELLEY in 1864, gave birth to her son, Thomas Price KELLEY on July 25, 1865, and died two days later from complications due to childbirth on July 27, 1865. Her parents were Michael and Catharine PRICE. They all lived in or around Findlay, Hancock County or Pleasant Township. I found Philip Barton Kelley's headstone at St. Michael's portion of Maple Grove Cemetery, but not Annie's. Thank you very much in advance. I have hit a dead-end on this search.

I am particularly interested in any information you can provide on any of the Sorbies. BEAMER, BEEMER, GRUB, MILLS, WYNN posted by Barbara Mills on Friday, March 14, 2003

I am looking for information concerning John (b 1793) and Sarah Ann "Sally" MILLS BEAMER/BEEMER. I last found them in the 1850 Hancock Cty Census in Findlay Twp. Listed with them was Margaret Ann GRUB whom I assume is a recently married daughter. I know they were in Hancock Co. as early as 1844. However, after the 1850 census I have not been able to find any of these individuals. Sally MILLS (b ca 1794) is the oldest known child of Thomas and Hannah WYNN MILLS. As such, I believe it possible that she would have inherited the family bible when her father died about 1844. Any information concerning John, Sally or Mary Ann would be greatly appreciated. John and Sally had other children, but they were all out of the home by 1850 except for Margaret Ann.

FOLTZ, THOMA, VOLZ posted by Cindi Stine on Tuesday, April 8, 2003

Looking for any information (but especially pre-1870) info on the Conrad VOLZ (FOLTZ) family who I believe came to Jackson Township, Hancock Co., sometime between 1868 and 1870. Probably came from Erie, Sandusky, or Ottawa counties. Was married to Maria (Walburga) ELMER VOLZ who later was called Mary Foltz. They had the following children: Jacob, Catherine, John, Elizabeth, Frank, Adam, Conrad Jr., Michael Gage. Conrad Sr. died in 1871 of Typhoid, as did son Jacob and daughter Catherine. Maria (Mary) moved to Findlay and went on to marry Paul THOMA. Do you have any info or family records pertaining to the Conrad VOLZ family? I suspect that there are other FOLTZes in the area who may have been related to him, but cannot find the link which goes further back than 1868.
