Looking for information about my COOK and EARLY relatives. Samuel COOK born in 1853, in Armstrong Cty, Pennsylvania moved to Hancock County sometime in the 1880's to 1890's. He moved with his brother Elmer COOK born in 1861 and died in Lima, Ohio in 1902 or 1903. My grandmother Lillian COOK was in 1891 I believe in Hancock County Ohio. Samuel COOK's wife was Harriet EARLY. She had a brother named Rice or William Rice EARLY, I know nothing further about him.
WATTON; WHITE; MCBRIDE - Joseph Watton was married in Hancock Cty Ohio. In 1831 his children lived in Hancock Cty Ohio along with the White family and Mcbride family. Joseph Watton and Lovely Mcbride where my grgrgrandparnets. There children married into the White family.
We are searching for the family of Elias WILSON who died in Hancock Co., Oh. He may have been born in Ma. in 1775. He had 5 children: Henry, Levi, Esther, Jane, and Elias. SCHUSTER, John Jacob, Findlay, Hancock Co, Ohio. I am seeking birth and/or marriage information about my paternal grandparents. He and his wife Mary Lavern DAWSON SCHUSTER had a son in Findlay, OH in November, 1914. His name was John Dawson SCHUSTER (SSN 509-09-4930). Searching for information on Martin DERHODES/DERODES,and his son, Rev. Henry C. DERODES. Martin DERHODES/DERODES was born in Jan. 1785. Would like to know where. Previously lived in Hagerstown, Maryland, and Columbiana County, Ohio. Moved to Hancock County, Ohio, where he died on Feb. 16, 1868. Rev. Henry C. DERODES, Martin's son, was born on May 6, 1828, in Columbiana County. He lived in Hancock County, where he died on Feb. 16, 1868. His wife was Elizabeth ARCHER DERODES. Her mother was Nancy COPUS ARCHER, daughter of Rev. James COPUS, of the COPUS massacre. Nancy's mother was Amy CHURCH COPUS. I would be happy to exchange information on any of these families, as I am directly descended from them.
Interested in further info on an Isaiah FOOR b 1827, and his father Frederick FOOR, b abt 1806 and David FORE who were residing in Findley and Eagle townships of Hancock Co., OH in the 1850 census. Isaiah FOOR, age then 18y, was living with a Henry FOLK/FULK family; his future in-laws as he later married daughter Susan.
