BONHAM, KIMMEL posted by Peggy O'Leary on Sunday, September 19, 1999

Looking for information on Dr. Jacob A. KIMMEL, who married Eliza Ellen (Ella) BONHAM on June 3, 1869. Ella Bonham was the daughter of Robert Bonham and Hester Douglas Bonham. I believe Jacob and Ella remained in Hancock Co. until death, but have no records on them other than their marriage. Who were Jacob's parents, and who were the children of Jacob and Ellen Kimmel? I am resesarching the ancestry and descendents of Bonham brothers Amos, Robert and Johnson Bonham who settled in Hancock, Ohio about 1828. Johnson Bonham, my gg grandfather was born in 1796 in VA. He moved with his father, Zachariah Bonham and siblings to Muskingum Co about 1817. Johnson is found on the 1820 census in Licking Co with a family (the census gives no names), then, he is found in Liberty township in Hancock, Co from 1830 until his death. Who is Johnson's wife?

BONHAM, KELLEY, KELLY posted by Peggy O'Leary on Sunday, September 19, 1999

I would like information on Daniel KELLY or KELLEY, who married Mrs. Nancy BONHAM on May 6, 1851 in Hancock Co. Mrs. Bonham was the widow of Johnson Bonham who died in 1845. I have a copy of a will of Isaac BONHAM, (son of Nancy and Johnson Bonham). Isaac leaves 1/6 of his estate to his half-sister Amanda KELLY or KELLEY, who was apparently a child born to Daniel and Nancy Kelley. Who were Daniel Kelly's parents, and did Daniel and Nancy have other children? Where is Daniel buried? Nancy is buried at Maple Grove with the BONHAMS.

BONHAM, HULL, SPITLER posted by Peggy O'Leary on Sunday, September 19, 1999

Malinda was a daughter of Johnson and Nancy BONHAM, who moved to Hancock Co. in 1828. Malinda HULL is mentioned in her brother, Isaac BONHAM's will of 1891. She was living in Findlay at that time. If anyone can provide the name of her husband, and their children, I will appreciate it. I would like to know about a V.T. SPITLER who was living in Hancock Co. in 1891. He was appointed to appraise the estate of Isaac Bonham of Findlay.
