LOUDENSLAGER William; Hancock Co., Ohio, USA; 1819-1892. I'm looking for any information about my great-great-great grandfather, William LOUDENSLAGER. He was born in an unknown county in Pennsylvania in 1819. He married Anna (surname unknown; born May 1814 in an unknown county in Pennsylvania). They had two sons, Martin LOUDENSLAGER; 1841-1874 (married Amanda ROWE, in Hancock County, Ohio, February 8, 1874) and Charles LOUDENSLAGER; 1853-?, and a daughter Savilla LOUDENSLAGER; 1844-? (married Edward PONTEOUS, in Wyandot County, Ohio, May 24, 1874). William LOUDENSLAGER resided in Hancock County, Ohio where he was a farmer & gunsmith until his death in November, 1892. Specifically, I am trying to determine William & Anna LOUDENSLAGER's county of birth (in Pennsylvania) and the names of their parents and any siblings. I possess a very old flintlock rifle that is said to have been made by William LOUDENSLAGER in the mid 1850's. I am trying to find out where and from whom WIlliam LOUDENSLAGER learned his gunsmith trade.
