Query #1. - Looking for information on R. C. THOMPSON who married Ellen SMITH. Do not have exact marriage date, but estimate it around1890. Ellen Smith was mentioned in the will of Isaac BONHAM (Findlay, OH, April, 1894). She was Isaac Bonham's niece, Her mother was Nancy Jane BONHAM, who married J H SMITH, Oct 29, 1866 in Hancock CO. ****** Query #2. - I would really like to know what this is about: Hancock County Clerk of Courts Chancery Records, Vol II. Walter's son Burdette, still living, was a long time farmer near Rawson. *** BEAMAND, Charles, Roy or John. Roy is from Spencerville, Charles was is father and John is grandfather. Roy died in 1994. JONES, WILLIAMSON, BUTT, WILLIAMS, Enos Oscar Jones married Sidney Williamson born 1832 on 6/13/1850 in Hancock County Ohio. Sidney is the daughter of Aaron Williamson and Margaret Ellen Williamson. They had the following children. Sidney Williamson Jones died 4/19/1872 at age 40 and is buried in Bishop cemetary in Eagle Twp., Hancock Co. Ohio. Albert born 1854; Margaret born 1856; Charles D. Born 1859; Enos Oscar born 1861; Sidney born 1863; Siblings of Sidney Williamson are Margaret Ellen Williamson who married John Butt, they had a child named John C. Butt. John C. Butt had a daughter Mary Ellen Butt who married Layton Earl Jones. Another Jones was Samuel Ellsworth Jones who was called Jakie Jones and he was kiled in Italy during WWII. Aaron Williamson father to Sidney Williamson (Jones) (wife of Enos Oscar Jones) was born in 1798 in Maryland and died 9/6/1859 in Hancock County Ohio. He is buried in Bishop Cemetary in Eagle Twp., Hancock County Ohio. He married Margaret in Pickaway Cty., Ohio 6/11/1815. He fought in the war of 1812 from Pickaway County. Margaret Williams (Williamson) mother of Sidney Williamson (Jones) (wife of Enos Oscar Jones) Was born 1796 in Ohio and died in Hancock County. An administrator record found in Fairfield Co. Basement listed Aaron, along with other family members who ended up in Hancock county. He died in 1821. Enos Oscar (M) Jones was born 8/24/1861 in Wayne, Ohio and died 11/4/1906 3PM dieing of pulmonary TB. He is buried at Evergreen cemetary in LA, California lot # 3852 Section E.his place of death. Enos joined the 118 Ohio regiman in Mansfield Ohio and served both as a private and later a corporal his enrollment was 11/10/1862 mustered in 11/19/1862. He was discharged on disability 6/13/1865 (65) suffering from chronic Rhematic fever. His discharge took place in Salisbury, North Carolina. He was 36 at the time and 5 feet tall. His occupation was listed as a farmer in Wayne County. He is also listed as a resident of Hancock cy. Ohio with a mailing address in Findlay Ohio. Enos purchased a home in the village of Hamler in Henry cty. Ohio for $30.00. Enos Jones mothers name is Sidney Williamson Jones. Williamson being the maiden name. Enos married Lucinda (Lou) Tussinger 7/4/1883 the daughter of John and Susanne Tussinger, she was born 7/17/1864 in Indiana and died 12/14/1918. She was buried in Deschler Ohio. They had the following children. She was buried in Deschler Ohio. Emil Milo Jones who died 8/29/1912 age 17 Olivia (Ollie) Firman. Husband Frank, daughter Erma died as baby Ethel Jackson, husband Harry of Deshler Ohio, child Alice died as baby Ada Andra, husband Ed Paul Jones of Lima, wife Helen Gladys married Bill Palmer and had a daugter Maxine.
