Enos joined the 118 Ohio regiman in Mansfield Ohio and served both as a private and later a corporal his enrollment was 11/10/1862 mustered in 11/19/1862. He was discharged on disability 6/13/1865 (65) suffering from chronic Rhematic fever. His discharge took place in Salisbury, North Carolina. He was 36 at the time and 5 feet tall.
