Obituary

Montgomery Ledger, February 3, 1885

George K. Miller, of North Coventry township, Chester county, residing on the property formerly known as the Willauer farm, died on Sunday morning at 4 o'clock. He had been in ill health for two years or more, on Saturday evening retiring to sleep and never woke again, passing away quietly in the morning from what his physcians pronounced an attack of apoplexy. His age was 64 years, 3 months and 10 days. Deceased followed the occupation of farmer, having managed the Price farm in North Coventry fifteen years. Mr. Miller was twice married, and his second wife, Elizabeth, daughter of the late Daniel Fritz of Pottstown, survives him. Five children, by the first marriage are living - Amos, Warren, and Fremont Miller, of Philadelphia; Clementine, wife of Mr. Reiner, of near Harrisburg, and Adeline, wife of Enos Shaner, of Cedarville, Chester county; also a son and daughter by the second marriage. Deceased was a worthy citizen, esteemed by a large circle of friends. His funeral will take place on Thursday, February 5th, to leave the house at 12 o'clock, proceed thence to the Cedarville M. E. Church, where services will be held. Interment at Mt. Zion cemetery.
