John Fulton Reynolds Evans died on Sunday, Aug. 27th, at Rome, Georgia, of typhoid fever, aged about 31 years. He was the eldest son of Nathan and Lydia Moore Evans, residing near West Chester; a nephew of Mrs. Dr. Charles Moore, and a cousin of Edward K. Landis, of Pottstown. Deceased was named after his uncle, Gen. John Fulton Reynolds, who was killed at the battle of Gettysburg. The deceased had been at Rome, Ga., about two years, as a furnace manager, and was a very estimable young man. His remains will be intered in the family burial ground at Lancaster, Pa.
