Abel Evans died at No. 1526 N. Ninth street, Philadelphia, Sept. 23d, in his 86th year. He was formerly a prominent citizen of Chester county, living near Chester Springs. His wife and three or four children survive him. Funeral at Vincent Baptist Church, West Vincent, Sept. 29th, at 11 o'clock a.m.
