To the Judges of the Court of Common pleas for the county of Chester composing and holding an Orphan’s Court for the said county

The Petition of Sebastian Keely, Jacob Keely and Abraham Haas

respectfully thewith[?]

That Jacob Keely late of Vincent township in the said county lately died intestate, leaving to survive him nine children to wit Hannah the widow of John Sailor, Sebastian Keely, Elizabeth the widow of Isaac Stetler, Jacob Keely, George Keely, Mary the wife of Abraham Haas, Esther Keely, Sarah Keely, and Catherine Keely, of whom Esther, Sarah and Catherine are minors under the age of twenty one years - and leaving also considerable real estate to wit a messuage grist mill sawmill and about one hundred and fifty five acres of land situate in Vincent twonship in the said county, a messuage and about six acres and one hundred and twenty nine square perches in the same township, and three acres of woodland in East Nantmeal township in the same county.

Your petitioners therefore pray the court to award an inquest to make partition of the premises agreeably to the acts of assembly in such case made and provided if the same can be done without prejudice to or spoiling the whole, but if that cannot be done and the same will accommodate more than one of the heirs, then to divide the said premises into so many parts as the same will accommodate and value and appraise the said parts, but if the said premises cannot be parted and divided, then to value and appraise the whole, and make return of their proceeding to the Court.
