I am searching for a John LEPLEY b-1780 Union Co,Pa he married a Mary ? in 1800 pa. two of his children I do know of are Samuel LEPLEY b- 10.25.1816 Union Co ,Pa he married a Elizabeth CATY b-1825 md. and a daughter Catherine LEPLEY b-1815 union co, pa. she married John BRINDLE b-1813 Pa. Hope others will help me learn more about the BURNS families of Columbiana Co., OH: A George BURNS assisted with the administration or surety bond for the estate of Joseph CARLE dec'd by July 1815. Richard CARLE was an administrator of the estate. Separately, a George BURNS was one of several sureties for the estate of Richard CARLE dec'd Columbiana Co., July 1837. Finally, Richard CARLE's son, Joseph (46; b. OH) resided Butler Twp., Columbiana Co., OH 1860, then with his dau. Elizabeth (14; b. OH) and niece Harriet J CARLE (20, b. MO). Joseph's son Hiram B. CARLE (12) then reported residing around the corner with family of George BURNS, aged 65 and apparent wife Elizabeth, aged 66 (as I recall, she was b. NJ) at the time of the 1860 Butler Twp., Columbiana Co. Census. There are references to a Hiram BURNS sprinkled in the estate and or land records associated with my CARLE family at Columbiana as well.

Seeking any and all information on a William R.(some records list him as William R.K.)DAVIS and his second wife Rachel PARKS DAVIS. They were living in Pleasants County, W.Va. on the 1900 Census with 8 children. My grandfather Manual and his brother William were Rachels stepchildren. Rachel had apparently been married before as she had a son named william E. KING who was born in 1880. the other children-Lawrence L., Amanda, Michael, Valley and Sanford Austin were Williams and Rachels. Rachel was abusive to my grandfather and his brother so they never spoke of this family and they have been very hard to trace. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
