I'm searching for any information about the family of George RENEKER b. abt 1810 and Rebecca ?????b. abt 1816. Married between 1835 and 1844. Their children were Mary RENEKER b. 1836, maybe from a previous marriage of mother to Mr. KEREKER., Martha b. abt 1844, Sarah b. abt. 1846, Johnathan b abt 1848 and William b. 1850. I am looking for who the ancestor's would be of David ASDELL (b. c.a. 1805) and Mary WALLACE (b. c.a. 1808). David and Mary were probably married in Columbiana Co. In the town of Calcutta my gr-gr grandfather Josiah Asdell was born on August 4, 1840. Later the family moved to Indiana. Josiah married Mary McCullaugh. Josiah CAMERON b.1805 Married Hannah Mendenhall b. 1816 in 1836. They had 8 children between 1837 and 1855: William (died Young), Edward, Albert, Hiram, Sara Jane, Lydia Ann, Louiza, and Milton. We are descended from Lydia Ann who married James DERR. Josiah's parents were Alexander and Jane Kirk Cameron and Josiah was one of 9 known siblings. Seek information on family of Alexander MCCAIN who married 4 Apr 1809 in Columbiana Co. OH to Clara BOLAND. He was born 1770-80, died probably 1840-50. She died apparently c1829. He bought or filed on land 18 Apr 1812 in Sec 24 Twp. 6 Range 1 in Columbiana Co. OH. Possible children include: Mary (c1811-1858 Kenton OH, unmarried); John(?); William (c1816-1853 Kenton OH, a physician); Ellen (died c1856, married Madison Eaton); Eliza (c1825-c1861 Leesville OH); and Samuel (c1828-1880 Kenton OH). According to a letter written by Samuel's sister-in-law, Samuel and wife Lucy Ann Cable went on a two week honeymoon (in 1854) to visit relatives in Columbiana Co. OH where he grew up (and apparently was born . The location given in the letter was near Wellsville. Does anyone have any information on these people? The name was most often spelled MCKEAN, but more often pronounced MCKANE or MCCAIN.

I need any dates/info that would put Hercules OGLE (married to Frances Hutton Ogle) in Columbiana Co. (possibly Jefferson Co. as well) prior to 1823. "History of Hocking Valley" -compiled during the times up to 1883, claims Hercules (above) was owner of the salt mills at Wellsville and a son, Orpheus, was born in nearby Jefferson Co. in 1823. Any info on the salt mills would also be helpful.
