My gg grandfather, James F. BEATTY is said to have died in an old soldier's home. I have checked the home in Sandusky. He was a Civil War veteran and may have lived with the DENOON family in Wellsville. Were there other facilities for old soldiers?

I understand there is a Philip GRIFFITH on the Columbiana Co. 1810 census in Kilbuck Twp. I can't find Kilbuck Twp. nor further evidence of Philip in Columbiana Co. He married Elizabeth CROZIER in Steubenville, OH in 1803. I believe both of them were born in Maryland. They lived in Wayne Co, OH by 1820. I'd like to share information on this couple.

Need info on William SANDERS (1746-1839) born in Pennsylvania possibly died in Columbiana County, Ohio, last known address. Two sons known, Jacob H. SANDERS (1810-1863) and John SANDERS. Jacob H. SANDERS married Ruth PENNOCK in Columbiana County, Ohio in 1833. Also info on Wesley CRAIG & Sarah JONES.

GRONER, Cornelius F. (Con) or C. F. b. in Columbiana Co., Ohio & settled in North Platte, Nebraska son of Isaac GRONER of PA. Con became a very famous sheriff & performed with the "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show". (He foiled a train robbery & arrested the JAMES/MIDDLETON Gang.) (Jesse JAMES wasn't along that day.) 1862-1865---Served in the 72nd Reg't, Co. D, Ohio Vol. Inf. Mustard out Milwaukee, Wis. On 8 July 1867 he moved to North Platte, NE. He m Elsie RING of Perry Co., OH in Omaha, NE May 1873. Any info on the GRONER or RING Family!

John KREPS (1788-1841) m. Elizabeth STELTZ (1778-1882) in 1811. John traveled to Columbiana County from Morrow County (west of Columbiana) about 1841 and died in October of that year on this trip. Am looking for the connection to this county and any additional information.

Do these Harris' related to Sarah Ann HARRIS who m. Samuel BROWN in Columbiana Co. in 1845? Joshua Harris was in Lawrence Co., Ind. in 1850; and the Browns were there in 1855.
