Elizabeth (Betsey) ALFRED was born March 27, 1834, in Geauga Co., OH. She married James E. Snow July 8, 1849 in Hillsdale Co., MI, and later moved to Williams Co., OH, where she died on October 25, 1911. I am looking for any information on Betsey's famliy.

I have Lewis and Sybil BARNES MILLER living in Chester Twp, Geauga Co, OH from about 1825. They were still there in 1850. Also living in Chester Twp, was the family of David and Jeannett MILLER. I know that Lewis had a brother named David, and that both of these MILLERs were born in MA, but I have no proof that this David is the brother. I know that the children of Lewis and Sybil moved on to WI, but I don't know whether they all moved together.

Would like to find info. about the ancestors of my Uncle, Raymond Arndt. He was born in Geauga Co. abt. 1910-12. He may have had a sister named Dorothy. The Arndt family had a connection with the Babb family but I do not know the connection. Does anyone know who Raymond's parents/siblings were? Any and all help is appreciated. Any information re. Crofoot. Obituary in South Bend Tribune states Henry Crofoot born in Lake County, OH July 1830. Believe Lake County was a part of Geauga Co. at this time.

I am searching for information on Horace Tubbs who is listed as a resident of Geauga County OH on the 1820 and 1840 Ohio Census Index (according to Ancestry.com). My husband's great-great-great-grandfather was Horace Tubbs (b. in Connecticut in 1792) who was married to Eunice Call. Their daughter, Phebe Irene Tubbs was born in Ohio in 1823. I am seeking information about this family. Lester T. Quigley b. 1864, d. 1938. Buried Chardon Villiage/Municipal Cemetery Lydia Quigley b. 1874 d. 1960. Buried with Lester, she was his wife. Alice Quigley b. 1841 d. 1923. Her nee was PATCHIN, she is buried near Lester and Lydia. I have this gentleman's picture, he is a relative and I would like to research him.

I'm looking for information on an Erastus D. Ford who was the son of Elijah D. Ford. Erastus married Agnes Cargill and then moved to St. Joseph MO in the mid 1800s. They came back to Parkman OH where my great grandfather, Elijah Dennison Ford was born (1848), spent a year then moved back to St. Joseph, MO. This line of FORDS are from Parkman and/or Troy, Geauga Co. OH. Any info someone can pass my way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Seeking information about my great grandmother, Lillian May McGONIGLE b. May 25, 1853 in Chardon, Geauga, OH.d/o of William Charles McGONIGLE and Susan CHILSON. Shortly after she was born the family moved to Indiana where her father was a lawyer, newspaper editor and teacher. He probably was similarly employed in Geauga County. I would be most interested in any information about her birth or her mother's siblings or ancestors.

Viola Bell Walker 1870? She was my Great Grandmother and was said to be born in Ohio around 1870. I'm told she was Cherokee. She gave birth to my Grandfather when she was 14 years old in 1884. Please find out where she was born, when, and if she was indeed Indian. Thanks.

Looking for information of parents and related family of Jacob Oscar Showers who married Ruthalie Boughton in Claridon on Nov. 18, 1841. Both are listed in the 1850 census in Fulton Co. They had two daughters, Mary 5 (born in Michigan) and Mary 3 (born Ohio). Jacob Oscar went to California in 1850 and settled in Eureka; Ruthalie stayed behind and died on Feb. 10, 1853 and was buried in East Claredon Cemetery. Jacob Showers was born Feb 23, 1820 in Greeneville, Greene Co. New York, and may be the son of James Showers, resident of Swan Creek, Fulton Co. in 1850 and 1860.
