Mary Wood wed William Robb on 19 Sep 1833 in Geauga County, Ohio. I have a James Emerson who lists Mary Wood as his mother and Timothy Emerson as his father. Timothy Emerson lived in Geauga County, OH in 1820-1837. His son Major S. Emerson was born there. I know Timothy had at least two wives, but I'm wondering if Mary Wood was his second wife? Timothy's first wife is listed as Sarah (last name unknown) who is buried in Monroe, Michigan 11 Apr 1837. Nancy Hanes (Haynes, Haines) wed a James Robb in Port Lawrence near Monroe, MI on 12 Jul 1829. She also wed Timothy Emerson (above) on 29 Jan 1838 in Toledo, OH. Can anyone shed some light? I'm confused! Thanks!
