The Beekman rent book shows that Jacob Schouten was on a 201 acre farm in "Beekman Precinct and Lot 19" for three lives, first rents of 16 bushels, 2 fowls and 1 days riding due May 1743 (the farm was actually 180 acres, but 21 more were added when Robert Embree tookover the lease in 1746).2
