The marriage record is Isham Tolley to Isabell Wilson, bond dated 25 Oct 1791. The bondsman was William Whiteside. The bride is NOT listed as Isabell Wilson Whiteside. There is/was a consent for this bond but it has been torn in so many pieces it cannot be read. But just the existance of a consent indicates that the bride was under age 21. Taken from Marriage Bonds and Consents 1786-1810, by Ison & Conover.

I'm trying to connect John D. Cull b. abt 1796 to Samuel Cull. I have a copy of a property transfer between Samuel and John D. in 1822. John D. Cull was living in Washington Co. at the time, and Samuel in Owen Co. John came to Owen Co. a few months later and married Nancy Wood. Am I barking up the wrong branch? Is John D. Cull the son of John Cull?

I have located three of Lydia/Levina Trisler's children in various homes in Mercer County. This leads me to believe that she may have died and is buried in Mercer County. Those children are George W. Any information about the demise or even the life of this person would be greatly appreciated.

The DAVIS family and the CANNON family are very much intertwined. I would like to find out more about your information. I am a descendant of Robert and Elizabeth CANNON through their daughter, Mary "Polly" who married John CHAMPION. Edward DAVIS was bondsman. Please tell me MORE!!!!!

Mary's niece, Harriet CANNON, married Peter DAVIS in Crawford County, Indiana and the DAVIS's been witnesses and bondsmen for my family members many times....I believe the BURKS were involved with the DAVIS' also.

Edward DAVIS was also listed as an appraiser when William CANNON died.

I can hardly wait to hear from you!!! Jan Lund
