     Agnes Marr Cheyne was born, 23 August 1857, at 1 AM, in Stoneywood, Newhills Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.1

Agnes Cheyne and Helen Cheyne were listed as children in the household of Henry Cheyne and his wife, Helen Cheyne on the 1861 Scotland Census, at Little Clinterty, in Newhills Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was 3 years of age and born in Newhills Parish.2

Cheyne and Henry Cheyne were listed as children in the household of Henry Cheyne and his wife, Jessie Cheyne on the 1871 Scotland Census, at 65 Barron Street, in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was 13 years of age and employed as a woolen mill worker.4

Agnes Marr Cheyne married Alexander Nicol.5

Agnes Nicol and her husband, Alexander Nicol, were listed on the 1881 Scotland Census, at Barron Street, in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their child was, Alexander Nicol. In addition, her sister, Mary A. Cheyne, was also present.. She was listed as 43 years of age and born in Newhills Parish.6,7

Agnes Nicol was listed on the 1891 Scotland Census, at 61 Barron Stret, in Aberdeen, Woodside, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was head of household and a general dresser's wife (he was in America). Also present were her children, Alexander Nicol, Henry Nicol, James G. Nicol, John Nicol, Agnes C. (?) Nicol, William C. Nicol, Helen C. Nicol and Levi Nicol. Also present was a lodger, Ann Milne Cheyne, 3, (probably a niece). Agnes was 33 years of age and born in Newhills.8

Agnes Nicol and her husband, Alexander Nicol, were listed on the 1901 Scotland Census, at 11 Station Road, Woodside, in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Alexander Nicol, Henry Nicol, James G. Nicol, John Nicol, Agnes C. (?) Nicol, William C. Nicol, Helen C. Nicol, Levi Nicol, Archibald Nicol, Alice Nicol and Lettie Nicol. In addition, there was an Isabella Frant (probably Grant), 82, pauper, also present in the household.. She was listed as 43 years of age and born in Newhills Parish.10

Agnes Marr Cheyne died before 1925. According to Karen Marr, Agnes Marr Cheyne died between 1910 and 1925.5
