"Sarah Clark, [Aylsworth Register] of whom nothing has been definitely ascertained as yet. The will of Elisha Clark, of North Kingstown, made March 20, 1760, and proved April, 1755, (these dates prob. reversed) may allude to her as his daughter, Sarah Clarke, to whom he gave £200 in bills of public credit, one milch cow, and in addition a general setting out for housekeeping. Will also mentions daughters, Mary and Abigail, and sons, Benjamin, Thomas, Joseph and Elisha, Joseph was executor. The legacies were to be paid to the daughters at twenty years of age or on the day of marriage, which might first happen".

There is a silver communion cup preserved, on which is engraved "The gift of David Fox, 1669," in the parish of St Mary White Chapel. David donated the land and money for the church. It is in Lively, Lancaster Co., VA.


Three hundred acres were granted in 1653 to David Fox, which he sold to Thomas Hobkins. They were bought by William Ball, who left them to his son, William, who in turn left them to his daughter, Margaret Downman. She sold 50 acres to Richard Ball, 11 October 1709.
