Martha Permila Edna HOWARD

ABT 1800 - ____

ID Number: I66488

Family 1 : Creed Taylor DEGRAFFENREID

Notes

2nd Wife. Said to be granddaughter of William Baker Degraffenreid. "Martha, according to Thomas P. de Graffenried's 1928 History of the de G. Family, was the "granddaughter of William Baker deG." (Chap. XV, p. 155). Tom does not, however, identify this William Baker (or else didn't index him). All citations except the above remark (p. 155) refer to Wm. Baker, son of Francis, son of Tscharner and Mary Baker. This Wm. Baker served in War of 1812 as an aide to Jackson, died of fever in New Orleans and left no issue (p. 163)."
