Christina Cheyne was baptized in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, 11 January 1845, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Peterhead, 1833-1854, Page 231, "Jan'y 11th (1845) George Cheyne (548), Mason, in Peterhead, had a daughter born 1st Jan'y, baptized and named Christina (974), before William Farquhar & Thomas Nicol (1356)."1

Elizabeth Cheyne, Christian Cheyne, Mary Ann Cheyne and Margaret Cheyne were listed as children in the household of George Cheyne and his wife, Ann Cheyne on the 1851 Scotland Census, at 9 Kirk Street, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was 7 years of age and born in Peterhead Parish.2

Christina Cheyne, Mary Ann Cheyne, Margaret Cheyne, Thomas Cheyne, Elenora Cheyne and William Kirten Cheyne were listed as children in the household of George Cheyne and his wife, Ann Cheyne on the 1861 Scotland Census, at 66 Kirk Street, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was 17 years of age and born in Peterhead Parish.3

Christina Cheyne married John Pirie 31 December 1867, in Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The film image of the Civil Marriage Records was extremely poor. I could not read any of the detail.4,5

Christina Cheyne, Thomas Cheyne and Elenora Cheyne were listed as children in the household of George Cheyne and his wife, Ann Nicol on the 1871 Scotland Census, at 67 Kirk Street, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was listed with her maiden name and a mason's wife. Her husband was not present, but her son, John A. Pirie (3026), age 2, was. She was 25 years of age and born in Peterhead Parish.6

Christian Pirie and her husband, John Pirie, were listed on the 1881 British Census, at 13 King Street, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, John William Pirie, Annie N. Pirie and Georgina Pirie.7
