The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Peterhead, 1833-1854, Page 383, "October 20th (1852) James Wilson (3377), Seaman, in Peterhead and Elizabeth Cheyne (996) his wife, had a son born 4th, baptized and named James (3380), before Alexander Wilson and James Cheyne (995)".1

Ann Wilson, James Wilson and Robert Wilson were listed as children in the household of Elizabeth Wilson on the 1861 Scotland Census, at 24/2 James Street, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was 8 years of age, born in Peterhead Parish and a scholar.2

James Wilson was listed on the 1871 Scotland Census, at 13 Northfield, in Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was head of household. His siblings, Ann Wilson and Robert Wilson, were also present. James was 18 years old, born in Peterhead Parish. He was listed as employed as a clumhouse (?).3
