Cheyne on the 1891 Scotland Census, at 62 Bon Accord, in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. Grace was 5, born in Aberdeen and a scholar.1

Cheyne on the 1901 Scotland Census, at 1 Bon Accord Square, in Aberdeen, Holburn, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. Grace as listed as 15 years of age, born in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and a scholar.3

Grace Mary was a talented violinist and pianist and during World War I played at concerts for the troops. She belonged to a Voluntary Aid group. She also played Scottish fiddle music.5

Grace Mary Cheyne married Harry Middleton 28 July 1917, in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.6

Attached are two photos of Grace Middleton, in her garden circa late 1930s and with her sister Edith Smith at an unknown location (Grace on right Edith next to her and the others unknown).7

During World War II Grace Mary had numerous soldiers billeted in her large four floored house in Haverfordwest. She drove a Church Army mobile canteen to Naval Bases around Milford Haven and the Royal Air Force facilities near Saint Davids.5
