Violet Cheyne, residing at Dean Park Farm, Craigleith, Edinburgh and the late Robert Cheyne were named as the parents of Harry Moncrief MacGill Cheyne, who died in action, on 15 September 1916 and was memorialized at Vimy Memorial, near Vimy, France; during World War I.6
