     Alexander Cheyne was born, 3 May 1891, at 9:30 PM, in Wardhead, Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.1

Elizabeth M. Cheyne, John Cheyne, William Cheyne, Samuel Cheyne, Isabella A. Cheyne, Alexander Cheyne, George Cheyne and Charles Cheyne were listed as children in the household of William Cheyne and his wife, Isabella Cheyne on the 1901 Scotland Census, at Wardhead, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was listed as 9 years of age, born in New Deer Parish, Aberdeen and scholar.2

Alexander Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 8 April 1913, at New York, New York, USA. He was a passenger aboard the California, on which he boarded in Glasgow, 29 March 1913. He was on a page marked "Canadians". He was listed as a 21, a student and a British Subject of Scottish race. His recent address was Parish of Lonmay, Scotland. His nearest relative was his father, William, residing in (Mintlaw?), Aberdeen. His destination was unreadable. Much of the same information was provided on a Canadian passenger list, dated the same.3,4

Alexander Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 21 September 1913, at Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland. He was a second class passenger aboard the Letitia out of Montreal. He was 22, a student, last residence was in Canada. He planned to remain in Scotland permanently.5

Alexander Cheyne died about 1976. He was formerly a minister of the United Free Church.6
