Juanita Maria Stiell Cheyne was born, about 1845, in San Louis Patoni, Durango, Mexico. The 1851 census had her birth about 1844 and the 1871, about 1847. I believe that the 1851 may have been more accurate, as she was at a boarding school for girls and the pupils were listed in age order.1
Juanita Cheyne was listed on the 1851 England Census at 4 Bath Road, in Reading, Berkshire, England. They were pupils at a large boarding schools for girls operated by Sarah F. Swallow and her sister Elizabeth Swallow. Juanita was seven years old; Guadalute 6 and both born in Mexico.2
Juanetta M. S. Cheyne was listed on the 1871 England Census, at 24 Elsham Road, in London, Kensington, Saint Barnabas Parish, Middlesex, England. She was head of household and a physician's daughter. She was 24 years old and born in San Louis Patoni, Mexico. Also in the household were her siblings, Guadalupe (11729), Norman (11741) and Edward (11742). As well as, two visitors and two servants. The two visitors were Sarah F. Swallow and her sister Elizabeth Swallow, who in 1851, were Juanetta and Guadalupe's school mistresses.1

Her estate was probated on 7 June 1877 at London, England.4
