Samuel Bryan(t) Rev. War Pension Record Posted by: Fern Law (ID
*****6809) Date: November 24, 2002 at 12:27:51 of 7996
I am apparently not directly related to the Bryan family, but am
a descendant of Squire Boone through his eldest son Israel. I
came to searching the Revolutionary War Pension Application
records because of my 2nd great grandfather Louis Morgan Bryant
Smith, and thinking perhaps we did have an ancestor Morgan
Bryant who he was named after. In any case, looking for Morgan
Bryan(t) in those records I stumbled across the record for
Samuel Bryan, copied the three pages of so-called
"documentation" for his pension request and transcribed those
pages. Now, I think I should post my transcription here.
Samuel Bryan's Revolutionary War Pension Application

historical, but with less family history)
