Prudence Samuel, half sister of Dr. Reuben Samuel married
Richard Henry Burden in 1861 in Clay Co. MO. Prudence and
Richard Burden had three children: (1) Richard Henry Lee Burden
who married Arie Elizabeth Calico, they are my
great-grandparents, (2) William Burden married Elizabeth
(unknown), (3) Anna Burden married George Henry Cobb. I think
they probably married in Madison Co. AR.
Prudence Samuel Burden, Richard Henry Burden, Richard Henry Lee
Burden, Anna Burden Cobb, and George Henry Cobb are all buried
in MT. Zion Cemetery, NW of Macomb, Pottawatomie Co. OK. I just
visited the cemetery last week and took pictures of all of the
graves.
