CONFLICT: Parents of Anna: Olaf III "Skotkonung" and INEGRID,
Queen of Sweden b. ABT 979 Sweden; dau of Miecesias, Prince of
Obotrites and Sophia.
Anna's Father: Olaf III "Skötkonung" Eriksson , King of Sweden
b: ABT 970 in Uppsala,Sweden
Mother: Princess Astrid of the Obotrites b: 979
CONFLICT: "Olaf Tryggvason, the First Christian King of Norway,
born ca 950; died 1000 (disappeared). Succeeded by his son(?)
Olaf II. Around Olaf II's time Ingigerd (Christian name Anna)
also known as Olafsdottir married Yaroslav the Prince of Kiev.
Taking into account the FACT that "Olafsdottir" means "the
daughter of Olaf", was Ingigerd a daughter of the Norwegian King
Olaf Tryggvason and therefore a sister of Olaf II ?????
Harald Hairfair - King of Norway + wife Swanhilda

Olaf Gjeirstad-Alf--------------Bjorn the Merchant

Tryggva Olafsson---------------Gudrod Bjornsson
--------\l/-----------------------------\l/
Olaf Tryggvasson---------------Harald Grenske
--------------------------------------\l/
---------------------------------Olaf II (the Good /
Holy)Haraldsson"
"There are three different Olafs here. Olaf II Haraldson of
Norway was not (at least not closely) related to Olaf I
Tryggvason. They were certainly not father and son. Ingigerd
was not daughter of either, but was daughter of Olaf Erikson,
King of Sweden. Olaf II Haraldson married the (half-) sister of
Ingegerd." taf
"The father of Ingegerd-Anna was a Swedish king Olof Skotkonung,
not Olaf Tryggvason.
the Olafs:
Olaf I Tryggvesson, b. c. 964; died c 1000. (son of
Tryggven ???)
Olaf II Haraldsson "The Holy". b. ca 995; d 29 Jul 1030. Son
of Harald (I do not know which one)
Olaf III Haraldsson. died 1093. Brother of Magnus II,
Haraldsson. Son of Harald II, Hardraode (born 1015; died 25 Sep
1066)
The Haralds:
Harald Blaotand (The Blue Teeth). b. ca 940; d. ca 986. King
of Denmark. Son of Gorms "The Old"
Harald Klag, d. ca 863
Harald I Haorfagre b. ca 850; d. 933 King of Norway
Harald II Hardraode "The Tough". b. 1015; d. 25 Sep 1066
The Haokons:
Haokon IV Haokansson. b 1204; d. 17 Dec 1263 in Kirkwall.
King of Norway
Haokon V Magnusson, b. 1270; d. 8 May 1319. Son of Magnus,
brother to Erich IV.
Haokon VI Magnusson. b. Aug 1340; d. 1 May 1380. King of
Norway
Son of Magnus V Ericksson. Married in 1363 Margarette
Attendag, daughter of Waldermar IV Attendag
Olaf I and Olaf II are not related (brothers, 1st Cousins or 2nd
Cousins)."

"Actually, the earliest source to mention the parentage of Olaf
II (Adam of Bremen) makes him the son of a certain "Craccaben",
which is earlier given by Adam as a nickname for Olaf I. Thus
Adam (writing less than a century after the event) is evidently
making the two Olafs father and son. The later orthodox
genealogy makes the two Olafs second cousins once removed, and
appears for the first time (so far as I know) in Ari's
Islendingabok (first half of the twelfth century). Of course,
there are good reasons to be suspicious about both Adam's
account and the orthodox genealogy. However, the bottom line is
that we really don't know whether or not there was a close
relationship between the two Olafs." Stewart Baldwin
