I am searching for any information on Parthema Aramitia KING "Mittie" who married James A. BROWN in TALLAHATCHIE County on June 6, 1887. Mittie was probably living with her sister, Sarah Frances "Sally" MITCHELL and her husband J.W.W.MITCHELL at the time of her marriage. Mittie and Sally were the daughters of William A. KING and his first wife Mary_______. Both were probably born in Chickasaw County, MS. William A. KING and all his married children with their families later moved to the Indian Territory of Oklahoma in 1890. All the families stayed in Oklahoma except Mittie BROWN and her family. I believe they returned to MS since she is listed as a survivor living in MS in my grandfather's obituary in 1922. If anyone has any information on any of these families, please let me hear from you. Thanks.

Looking for confirmation that our Sarah A. J. Kendall did indeed marry a "FURR". On the death certificate for Jefferson Lowry Kendall (her brother - d.o.d. 1/3/1916) the informant is listed as "S.A.J.Furr". I think Sarah was at her father's house (James F. Kendall) in Panola County in 1880 and living with another brother- Thomas F. Kendall- in Tallahatchie County as a widow in 1900. Any clues, leads appreciated.
