note from Ducat: Frederic Lampkin married Marie Marchal in Leopold: Frederic, son of Jean Henry was born in Belgium about 1850.
note: I find in Herbeumont Jean Frederique Lamkin born March 7, 1848; son of Henri Joseph 48 y.o., and Marguerite Legrand 36 y.o. It's not possible than he would be the son of Jean Henry as listed by Ducat. No marriage either of a Lamquin in Herbeumont between 1844 and 1850. In the 1880 census, Frederick Lamkin stated being born Belgium in 1848. In March following the 1900 census, but born in Germany. Anew a Belgian "Wallon" in the 1910 census, immigrating in 1867.

Louis Lamquin born Belgium(?) about 1817; married Elisabet Hall born Belgium(?) about 1815.
Children born in the USA: William, Elisabeth, John, Brigitte. Immigrated before 1847, first to Kentucky and after to Leopold.
 
Note: I found that familly in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 censuses. The parents always state all been born in Kentucky.

Note: She stated having emigrated in 1870 in the 1910 census. They had 8 children.
