notes: - The others children listed in that census are those of Jean François Hubert and Josephine Mernier.
- No other trace of an Ernest Albert listed on board the Attala. 
- Ducat list Joseph Albert born Chiny March 11, 1815, but I found in Chiny another Joseph Albert born 1820, more fitting with the declared age in the census and on the ship manifest.
- Ducat also list Anne Jacques as his first wife, born 1795, death in 1852. The Anne Jacques with such birth and death was the wife of Joseph Jacques. (see that family)
