On March 3, 1788 was born Jean Baptiste Belva, son of Jean Nicolas and Anne Marie Dupont)
Marie Catherine Houlmont born Chiny, May 10, 1790; death November 13, 1871, Leopold, Perry Co, Indiana (born May 15, 1792 on his tombstone ! no such birth recorded in the Parish registers at Chiny. On May 10, 1790 was born Marie Catherine Houlmon daughter of Nicolas and Therese Lemaire)

In the 1860 census is listed Frederick Belva living with John and Mary Belva, born Kentucky about 1843. It's probably Frederick Meunier.
"Elisabeth" Belva on board Oregon born about 1819, following the ship manifest, is rather "Marie Helene"; Elisabeth, born 1810, was not on the Oregon as she had a child born February 8, 1844, Chiny
