Some researches at Ancestry and FamilySearch add the following information: two girls born New Orleans, Louisiana.
Leonie born December 26, 1856; Marie Aline born September 24, 1858. Parents: Adolphe Francois Genlain and Emilie Louis
 
Adolphus Francis Genlain married Emily Louis on August 12, 1856 at Jefferson, Kentucky. The father of Adolphus Francis was Louis Joseph Genlain[2] and the mother of Emily was Theresa. There Emily Louis got very sick and died and is buried in an unmarked grave[3]. Adolphe Francois Jenlain went to England with his daughters and married in Kensington in 1863 but the name of the bride was not given, it was an "Emma "

In the 1881 census Adolphe, Emma and Louise had moved to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Adolphe occupation was "photographer"
Adolph death occured on March 17, 1899, Wimbledon, Surrey

Leonie death occured in 1878 at Bath, Somerset
Emma Mary Genlain was still living in Wimbledon in the 1901 census, a widow, with Aline and Louise her "stepdaughters"; the two listed as single.
 
The sister of Adolphe Genlain is listed in Leopold, Louisa daughter of Louis Genlain and Franciscoe Herboukonen: birth October 21, 1837 France; she married John Goffinet on October 25, 1854; death December 13, 1917, she stated in the 1900 census that her father was born Belgium and her mother was born France; in the 1910 census she stated that both her parents were born Belgium
