The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Old Machar, 1721-1762, Page 231/Frame 119: :"September 25th 1733 James Cheyne (8480), Shoemaker, in Spittle & Jannet Innes (8483), his Spouse, had a dau'r bap'd by Mr. Murray, Epis'l Min'r, named Ann (9598), J's Innes, Jo'n Strachan, Will'm Duguid & Ja's Birney, Witnefses".1
